Work, the daily grind that occupies most of our time, is the basic act by which individuals and communities are defined. Let's Go To Work, a mixed-media art installation, is a celebration of work, analyzing Wicker Park Bucktown's present and future through the lens of individuals who work in the neighborhood. The project is a collaboration between brother-sister team Rine Boyer and Mark Andrew Boyer, capturing the essence the neighborhood through portraiture and stop-motion animation.

Rine Boyer's portraits of four workers from four different industries -- the arts, fashion, restaurant service, and sustainable development -- depict local business leaders with images of their work overlaid on their faces. The portraits are complemented by video animations of the workers created by photographer / videographer Mark Andrew Boyer. The videos, which echo the bright colors and staccato motion of neon signs, depict the subjects going about their work.
